The Gulf of Oristano from 11 to 17 October 2021 was the protagonist for the first time in the world of the first FormulaKite World Championship with the format of the next Olympics in Paris 2024. 140 athletes from 33 nations competed in the Gulf of Oristano. It was a week of battles that saw the French athlete Theo De Ramercourt win for the men and the American Daniela Moroz win her 5th world title for the women.
The support of the Region of Sardinia, the Municipality of Oristano, Fondazione Oristano, Fondazione di Sardegna, Pro Loco di Oristano Harbour Master’s Office is once again fundamental this year.
