Il Golfo di Oristano si prepara ad accogliere gli atleti delle nazionali che parteciperanno al Mondiale Giovanile di Kiteboarding, il “Formula Kite Youth World Championship 2022”, che si terrà dal 16 al 22 maggio pv., a Torre Grande, marina di Oristano. Italia, Singapore, Cina, Repubblica Ceca, Taiwan, Croazia: sono le prime nazioni già presenti a Torre Grande, ogni giorno gli atleti svolgono delle sessioni di allenamento in vista del grande evento sportivo mondiale. Le categorie in acqua saranno quelle Under 21, 17 e 15 e le atlete e gli atleti dovranno seguire il regolamento che sarà osservato alle Olimpiadi di Parigi 2024. Intorno al grande spettacolo sportivo tanto atteso, che arriva dopo il Mondiale di ottobre 2021, si svolgeranno gli eventi collaterali legati al mondo del mare, della sostenibilità ambientale, della cultura con il KiteFoil Fest e sul lungomare sorgerà un villaggio dedicato allo sport e all’enogastronomia. Il “Formula Kite Youth World Championship 2022” sarà presentato giovedì 12 maggio 2022 alle ore 11:00 presso l’Eolo Beach Sports a Torre Grande, si tratterà di una presentazione aperta al pubblico e di una conferenza stampa.
