SUCCESS FROM THE START

OWC was born in 2010 from the intuition of Sergio Cantagalli and Renzo Mancini, a format that continues to bring more and more important sporting events after 10 years. Sinis SUP Marathon

The Sinis SUP Marathon has become an appointment for all SUP enthusiasts and professionals. An 8 km crossing. departing from Tharros up to Torregrande.

WORLD CHAMPIONS

In recent years, many athletes have passed the open water challenge in Oristano and have since become Italian, European and world champions. Among the most famous and known as Airton Cozzolino multi-dispiclina athlete. Matteo Iachino, the first Italian to become windsurfing world champion in 2016, also passed here at the OWC. Sofia Tomasoni 3 times worl champion in the kiteboard TT-R and recently won the gold medal at the Youth Olympics in Brazil.

The 2018 edition was the one that brought for the first time in Italy a European stand up paddle competition with the participation of ten nations that fought on technical and long distance races. The team victory went to France, second the Spaniards and on the lowest step Denmark.
